Perfect Look for our Modern Rustic Bathroom
We used this tile for the bathroom floor in our small guest bathroom in our log home. The pebbles look great with the log walls. We're going for a modern look with rustic accents, and the nearly perfect circles of this pebble tile fit the bill perfectly - rustic material (stone) in a more modern pattern. The tile was fairly easy to install - the mesh-backed panels did not seem to fit together perfectly without leaving a large space between them, but we were able to get them to fit to our liking by re-arranging a few pebbles here and there. We laid out the whole floor before sticking them down with the thinset. We especially liked that it was easy to fit the tiles against obstacles like walls, floor vents, etc., by just cutting the mesh backing and putting some small pebbles back in place to fill the gaps. We had originally envisioned a darker pebble on the floor, but these lighter stones were a better deal, so we installed them with a dark charcoal gray grout, and it worked out perfectly!
