Create a beautifully fresh (and slighty retro) look
Because they are mesh-backed, they do tend to slip a little down the wall when first placed, so you need to be vigilant about your spacing. I used a spirit level to pencil lines across the wall and make sure I was hitting those rows spot-on with each tile placed. Also, you need to have the right blade to cut glass tile well and prevent breakages as glass subway tiles aren't cheap. Lastly, I used a 50/50 mixture of sanded and un-sanded grout (usually recommended for glass tiles) and suffered no scratching of the surface whatsoever.
